The Heart of Tomorrow project continues to move forward! My company, Hurd Health Group LLC, submitted its first NIH, STTR research grant this week in partnership with Iowa State University. The research focuses on the development of a ventricular assist device that uses a solid-state, electromagnetic drive system to assist failing hearts.
